If you haven’t seen this movie, you should. Although the matters discussed have been talked about in other books and movies such as “The Future of Food” and Michael Pollan‘s “In Defense of Food” and “The Omnivore’s Dilemma“, it has some really interesting details that never seem to amaze me.
I wonder how much people care about these issues. I can see there’s a movement going on, that has been going on for quite some time but it saddens me when I talk about such issues to others and there is no reaction and if there is, it’s not a good reaction. By good I mean, I’m given an “I-don’t-really-care” attitude and “well, I’m gonna die regardless so might as well live to the fullest”, which is something I have a hard time accepting.
I think about our future as people, I think about my children if I’m ever blessed with any. I would love for them to be healthy and know what real food is like, to appreciate nature, to be able to live longer and love the food that God has provided us with, going back to the basics.
There’s so much to think, wonder, talk, and argue about within these issues but one thing is for certain: We are not getting any healthier eating the food that these companies are making for us. They are extremely deceiving, thinking they care about us and want the best products for us, but in reality, they just want absolute control and get richer, at the cost of our health and lives.
If only we could all start making small changes to make these really good things happen, we can show “them” they cannot control everything, and that we do care about our food, no one should take that away from us, it’s just ridiculous!
