The other day we stopped at Jamba Juice to find something “healthy” to eat, I thought I’d get some sort of smoothie but then I found this most amazing wrap. I loved it so much I tried to remake it and although it didn’t come out like it, it was just as good. At Jamba Juice, they used a mango sauce, which adds the most calories to the wrap (prolly sugar?).
So here’s what I did:
INGREDIENTS:
Hummus
Tahini sauce (I made my own with tahini paste, garlic, lemon juice)
Garlic-Mint yogurt spread (bought at the farmer’s market)
Cilantro pesto (bought at the farmer’s market)
Carrots shredded or cut into thin strips
Alfalfa sprouts
Cucumbers cut into strips
Spinach flour tortilla (I don’t remember which one exactly)
ASSEMBLY
After you but all the veggies, warm the tortilla for 20 seconds in the microwave. Spread the hummus on it, then add the carrots, cucumbers, cilantro pesto, and finally the sprouts. Pour some of the tahini sauce on top and wrap the tortilla to your liking. Mine was a bit too small for all the stuff but it worked!
This is a really refreshing snack/lunch and it’s has a lot of textures (yum). It would be so d-lish with sweet potatoes on the side :)

Yum! We have wraps for dinner fairly often, they’re so cheap and easy, but I’ve never tried them with hummus.
We gotta trade recipes! :)
We just do ours mexican-ish style, with kidney beans, lettuce, cucumber, salsa, sour cream and avocado. Yum!
