salad recipe

This is one of the most delicious salads I’ve ever made. I craved it for days! I keep forgetting to post more about my raw adventure but I will soon. It’s not hard, it’s actually fun to experiment with ingredients and flavors. In doing salads, I find that we both enjoy textures, so I’ve been trying to add as much fun things in salads, (healthy things that is) and making our own dressings. This one was just a winner, hands down. I don’t remember how much of anything, I just made enough for about 4 big servings…that was our main dish and a very small piece of fish on the side.

ORGANIC INGREDIENTS:

Red-tip lettuce
Dill
Spinach
3 Tbsp Sprouted Quinoa
1 Avocado
1 Tbsp Dried Currants
1/2 Mango chopped
1 Tomato chopped
1 Persimmon chopped
3 Celery sticks chopped
Broccoli Rabe/Rapini
1 Tbsp Flaxseed oil
3 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tbsp Hemp Seeds
1 Tbsp Walnuts
Himalayan Pink Salt
Black Pepper
2 Tbsp of my Salad Booster thingy (or you can use any green powder such as spirulina, kelp, or chlorella)

Combine all ingredients (except for oil, vinegar and salt/pepper) and mix well. Pour oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and mix well. Eat and feel happy :)

This sounds so good! I just got some Himalayan pink salt, HimalaSalt, from Sustainable Sourcing https://secure.sustainablesourcing.com and I think I’ll try it out in this recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome! I also started putting a pinch on my water…to add more minerals since I drink tap filtered water :)
