veggie wrap

I found these gluten-free wraps and began experimenting with different things to put in it. This was a good one but I wasn’t too crazy about the wrap. It was a bit too chewy for me and I later re-read the ingredients…well not so good for you after all. But it looks pretty and it was tasty. I won’t get it again though…

raw vegetable wrapINGREDIENTS:

Wrap (it has kamut, millet, buckwheat and other good grains, says it’s gluten-free)
Lettuce (purple and green)
Tomatoes
Carrots
Avocado
Red pepper
Celery
Sprouted Quinoa
Himalayan Pink Salt
Black Pepper
Pinch of Turmeric
A splash of garlic & mint yogurt sauce

My boyfriend just came home with hot chips and a milkshake just as I scrolled onto this post in my reader. Way to make a girl feel guilty! :D They look delicious! I’ve found so many GF wraps to be chewy, they best ones are what my boy makes at home, I’m lucky to have found such a wonderful cook!
